Sunday the 7th of February 2010 is the date for your diary, Super Bowl XLIV has quickly crept on us. This year sees the New Orleans Saints play the Indianapolis Colts at the Sun Life Stadium Miami, Florida in what promises to be an exciting high point of the NFL season. All the way from the National Anthem to the trophy presentation at the end it's bound to be brilliant entertainment. It's going to be hours of stats, dodgy celebrations and a half time show that could only ever happen in America.

The Super Bowl is well known as one of the sporting highlights of the year, even people who aren't really interested in American Football the rest of the year make the effort to watch the Super Bowl, it really is an institution in its own right. For those of us who aren't lucky enough to get to the Sun Life Stadium or have TV coverage in our own country, the internet can come to our rescue. Super Bowl XLIV is nearly here, you Saints and Colts fans should stick on your NFL authentic football jerseys, prepare your Super Bowl Snacks, grab a beer and prepare for the highlight of the NFL season, for the rest of us we'll just pick a team and try and join in (Saints this year for me)!

A well deserved win for the Saints. The first half was a little slow but it really picked up in the second half.
