Manchester City vs Manchester United - Live
Manchester City vs Manchester United Live
For even the most biast Manchester United fan it's fairly obvious that the Carling Cup could be Uniteds only silverware this season. In a season where Manchester United have generally played badly aganist the top teams there are 2 results which have really stood out, the last minute home win against Manchester City and the Carling Cup win.
Whilst United sit second in the league there are now 4 points behind Chelsea and rapidly running out of games, a record breaking 4th title in a row seems nothing more than a distance chance now. How good would it be then for Manchester City
to end Manchester United's title hopes once and for all? It would be the perfect revenge for the last minute victory United secured over City earlier in the season.
Saturday the 17th of April brings together the red and blue halves of Manchester as Manchester United play Manchester City at Eastlands. A win for City in the game will surely give them the oomph they need to finish the season in 4th place and secure Champions League football for next season. There is only really
Spurs that can stop them now and they have a tough game against Chelsea.
If Manchester United can get beat Man City then they'll still be holding on to some hope of lifting the Premier League title again, especially if Tottenham can do a job on Chelsea as they did on Arsenal. On the other hand if Manchester City do over Manchester United it will provide such a huge boost to the club still looked upon as the annoying neighbours. Either way I wonder what odds of Carlos Tevez scoring again??
