At first glance Fulham vs Manchester United might not seem like such a competitive fixture. Fulham have struggled to achieve anything better than average (Kudos must be given for qualifying for the Europa League last season though) since making the step up to the Premier League whilst Manchester United, well I think everybody knows about Manchester United. If you look into the detail though, especially at Craven Cottage it's easy to see that this is anything but a formality away win for Man Utd. The defeat to Fulham was one of only a handful Manchester United suffered last season and with the top teams seemingly being much less consistent this season this fixture now has plenty of bite to it. Add in the long injury list that Man Utd are suffering from at the moment, especially in defense, and it's easy to see a possible upset in the offing with this one. Sir Alex Ferguson will be desperate for Nemanja Vidic to make it after leaving the pitch early in their midweek victory over Wolves. Roy Hodgson's main problem will be having striker Andy Johnson injured although after their midweek victory in the Europa League confidence will be high. Knowing the odds that follow Manchester United this could be one of those games where it might be worth a few pound on the home team.
