Coolstreaming Streaming Software

Coolstreaming was the original program for P2P sharing of live football streams, for its duration it was very popular and it worked extremely well. Over time Coolstreaming will probably come to be regarded as cult software. However, for legal reasons of one sort or another the Coolstreaming software project was brought to an abrupt end. By that time a number of other programs were beginning to pop up to take over the mantle and allow people to watch quality live football streams and other sports over the internet. The coolstraming project appears to have now re-appeared as a website listing various streams that are available. These do not use P2P software so the quality is limited to the load on each individual server, it is also possible for a server to become fully subscribed.
